Integrative Wellness Classes

How do I prepare for an Integrative Stretching Class?


You will want a yoga/exercise mat, or you can just use a spot on a rug or carpeted floor. If you are unable to get up and down off of the floor, your bed could be a good option. Pillows and rolled up blankets make great props to keep you comfortable during class. We recommend a stretching strap or someting similar, like a belt, towel, scarf, etc. to assist in some stretches. You'll be filling out a survey before class to let us know of any physical limitations or any other concerns you might want addressed. If the conditions are in your favor, you can even take your practice outdoors!




How can I create a relaxing environment?


Some of our favorite ways to create a relaxing environment include playing music. Feel free to play whatever music you like during your session. We recommend something without lyrics so as not to distract you from your practice. We also love essential oils - diffusing or applying topically are great for getting the body relaxed. You can also light some candles and dim the lights for a peaceful environment. If you get down with crystals, having them near or on you can be very soothing. We encourage you to limit distractions as much as possible. This might mean telling members of your household that you'd like to not be disturbed, closing pets out of the room, turning off unnecessary electronics, etc.




How do I prepare for a Self-Care with Reiki, Reiki + Meditation or Energy Flow class?


You will want somewhere you can relax and have the option to either sit comfortably or lay down. This could be on a yoga/exercise mat, a space on a rug or carpet with cushions and blankets. If you are unable to get up and down off of the floor, your bed could be a good option. Pillows and rolled up blankets make great props to keep you comfortable during class. It's great to come into class with an intention, so we always encourage you to think about that before you arrive. If you have any extras to enhance your experience such as crystals, music, essential oils, smudging/energy clearing, bring it on! We encourage you to keep a journal for your experiences and follow up with thoughts that come after class. You'll be filling out a survey before class to let us know of any physical limitations or any other concerns you might want addressed. If the conditions are in your favor, you can even take your practice outdoors!




How do I prepare for a Functional Fitness class?


Set yourself up somewhere with enough space to move freely. We recommend a yoga/exercise mat. You'll be filling out a survey before class to let us know of any physical limitations or any other concerns you might want addressed. If you cannot get up and down off of the floor, please have a chair available. Depending on your fitness level, you may want to do your first class without any weights. You can use only your body weight, dumbbells, soup cans, water bottles, basically anything that has some weight to it. It's very important that you listen to your body! The instructor will be offering modifications for each move, it is completely up to your discretion how hard you want to push. Feel free to have your own music playing during class. If the conditions are in your favor, you can even take your practice outdoors!




What are my payment options?


Drop-in classes are $15, or you can sign up for one of our Raise Your Vibration membership plans. If you plan to take 1 class per week, the Level Up plan includes exactly that and is only $33! We accept credit cards, PayPal and Venmo. We do not accept HSA or FSA cards, but we can generate an invoice upon request.

Where do I find my Zoom meeting link?


The link to join the Zoom meeting for your session is in the confirmation email you received when you registered. If you can't find it, please call/text: 401-336-6614 or email integrativewellnessri@gmail.com.




What if I can't make the class time or I miss it?


All classes are recorded, so if you cannot attend you will receive a link with the recording to watch at your convenience.
